Not worth paying for

I bought this app because I wanted a free-standing speed test app independent of a browser. There is eithere something wrong with this app, or all of the browser-based apps are wrong. Five different browser-based speed test apps give me download speeds in excess of 100 mbps, most run between 110 and 130. The best speed this app has ever shown is 52 mbps, most are in the 20-30 mbps range. The app selects the server for testing but never shows where it’s located, so for all I know, it could be in Alaska or Moscow, which could account for the slow speeds.

Bottom line, I’ll just go back to browser-based speed tests and chalk this one up to a few bucks down the toilet. Don’t waste your money.
