Not a snap-shot

To get a real reading of your speed you need a snap shot. This app reads multiple speeds and settles with the higher. I bought it to see why my streaming keeps loading. Also the upload side never has any results.

Disappointing

Half the time it does not work. I get the needle ‘runninng’ but there are no stats of speed half of the time.

Speed Test App!

Doesnt seem to be accurate ! I have compare it to three other programs that measure your speeds and its always way off ! The others i use are all within reason of each other ! Two of which are free ………..!

What a waste of money

This app downloaded but will not open. total waste of money

Speed Test

This promising app is cheap. But you get less than you pay for. It simply did not work, after multiple attempts, after multiple Restarts of my computer. If my experience is at all typical, then dont waste your time and money with this app.

Nice Speed Test… but Buggy

I bought this one because I am a sucker for a nice GUI (graphical user interface). But it has a few bugs that need to be worked out. When you click on "SHOW IP” a dialog box displays your Local IP Address, the Public IP Address, the City being pinged during the test along with it’s Longitude and Latitude. But when you click on the Icon to display the location on Maps will not always work. And sometimes nothing happens when I click on "START TEST” or it takes a rerally long time to get results (up to 4 minutes and 37 seconds was the longest ). But the results are very accurate. Another problem is when I click the Green Dot to go full screen it gets stuck into full screen. And the Red, Yellow and Green Dots disappear. At this point I need to delete the App from my iMac and reinstall it again. Last but not least, I think the RATE App button should remove itself after rating the App. One point to keep in mind is the App is only 0.99 cents so it’s an excellent value for the price. Thank you Sun Zhi Feng for all your effort in developing this App. I hope you keep updating your SPEED TEST App and work out the bugs.

Seems To Give Inaccurate Readings

I installed this app approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago and for some reason it consistently shows download speeds far lower than other ‘free’ on-line speed test programs. For instance, this app will register wi-fi download speed at 3.2 mbps while other speed test programs register 6+ mbps. When I connect using an ethernet cable this app still registered download speed of 3-4 mbps while another program registered 8.1 mbps. Because we are experiencing excellent streaming performance with several devices simultaneously on-line I am inclined to believe that this app is consistently registering far lower download speeds than we are actually experiencing for some reason. I think I’ll be un-installing it.

Does not work on 10.7.5 Application crashes during start up on my Mac Pro

This Is A Great Speed App

This Thing “Is The B-O-M-B” in internet speed apps, I saw everything I wanted to find out “All For 0.99cents..I’m Happy!!!.. I’m using OS X Yosemite, ver 10.10.2 on the Macbook pro,2.4 proc,4GB..

Doesn’t work on my iMac

It worked at first. Now it doesnt

Works like a charm!

Currently running OSX 10.10.2 on both a Mac Mini (Late 2009) and a Mac Book Pro (Mid 2009, 13 inch). Maybe a little slow to start, but does a good job comapred to others I have used. Thanks!

Way too High

I don’t know what this app is measuring, but it sure bears no relationship to my internet connection. My connections theoretical speed is ADSL, 4Mbps/1Mbps. This app claims it’s 14 Mbps/2.5 Mbps. Not even close. I’m removing this app. My system is a MacBook Pro, late 2013 vintage running Yosemite 10.10.2. I’m measuring my WiFi connection configured thru an Airport Time Capsule router.

What is it testing?

My internet speed is 50 meg up/5 meg down reported by other speet tests online. Speed reported not consistet. one test 30meg down/15 meg up, retest 60meg down/15meg up.

Not accurate

This app is not accurate. It’s measurements of my ISP’s download speed is usually way to high or low, when compared to several online speed test. None of the measurements seem to be close to what my speed should be. Otherwise the interface is very nice and the auto testing feature is great, only if it were accurate. Will keep it in hopes the developer fixes the accuracy problem.

Inaccurate and internally inconsistent

On the main display this app shows Ping 24.67 ms, Download 101.36 Mbps, upload 5.68 Mbps — the download speed reported is way out of ballpark, but the ping and upload speeds are reasonably believable. Looking at the history of the same test in the app shows ping: 24.674 ms, Download 25.34 Mbps, Upload 1.42 Mbps — in other words roughly ¼ the speed reported on the main display screen and no way to tell which is correct. For comparison purposes the OOKLA online test showed Ping 20.26 ms, Download 42.63 Mbps, Upload 4.32 Mbps — all three of which are believable performance ratings and generally consistent with other online speed tests. The display is clear and easy to interpret, but since the results are not even internally consistent it is clearly unusable in its present state of development. I will hang around to see if the problems can be ironed out.

Accuracy

The speed dials are different than the history graph. The graph is reporting about 1/2 the values in the dials. Nice app, hope this can be fixed.

It’s OK but extremely slow, there are better alternatives

This app takes 1-3 minutes to get a read. A much better app is one called Ethernet Status. That one gives speed immediately, also it stays in top menu & flags immediately when connection drops off and gives IP etc info.

Takes too long to get a reading

It takes a few minutes to get a reading before it starts displaying results. The graphics on the interface look like it was created in 1995, maybe 1997 at best. It’s also not accurate, it’s almost as if these guys just sold me on a gif or a vine clip - that everyone gets to show approximate 15mps. And I paid .99 for it - like schmuck! I use OOKLA Speed test on IOS - it’s free fast and looks good too. It does try to sell you and Ad after the results, but the results are there and you needn’t buy the upgrade. I’m going to ask for my money back!

complete waste of money and time

this app is slow slow slow. not good if you think you are experiencing braodband issues. suggest that no one use it.. waste of money
