I have a Windows 10 machine beside my Mac. I use SPEEDTEST.NET (an indursty standard) on the PC. SPEEDTEST.NET is not reliable (compatible) on the MAC. I purchased this app to see how it compared to SPEEDTEST.NET. At first I thought the drugs had just kicked in! WOW. Instead of the 20mbps i am paying for, and SPEEDTESY.NET said I was receiving, this app said I was downloading at 43mbps! Test after test was super erroneous. Don’t waste your money on this piece of junk. Maybe if you want to brag to your friends how fast your connection is, this would be the “tool" to prove it. Im not sure what programming school Mr. Feng flunked out of, but he needs to test his product. Testing in production will always get you in trouble.

OS 10.10.5 Yosemite gives no results...

Does not Work at all.. Click Start and nothing...

Have tried multiple times without success. Any repair date?

Doesn’t work when it does decide to open without crashing on 10.7.5.

Never was very accurate. For the last two updates, it doesn’t run at all. Very dissapointing.

it simply does not work after i updated it i need my money back

Here we are at 6.1 and still it does not run at all. I am through with this apt. IT IS JUST A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY THAT I SPENT ON IT.

Looks like the developer doesn’t care either, judging by the speedy response to issues NOT

Funny thing, I have had this prgram for some time. Never really used it for awhile. Bought a new TP-Link router for streaming and better range of wifi so I ran the spped program and it does nothing. Program is dead.

I did try this app from few places. Each time I used other online speed tests utils (of course not running all at the same time :) and they all sowerd much higher speeds with in margin of errors and this app was way way low. For example download speed on other sites was 60/M vs this app was showing 6M/s down. Also there is no way to detect which site is auto detected. Perhaps this is the problem in this app. Manual site selection should be option

Aplle has updated to El Capitan. since this update it has not worked. dont leave me hanging! lets get this update going…..

This app doesn’t seem to work at all for me. I used to love it but now I click the start button and nothing happens.

This app is dead! It never did work. save your pennys.

When you pay for an application the least it could do is WORK! This is a rip off application. Save your money and use a free one from the internet.

So after the fiasco of 6.0 not working at all, then 6.1 not working at all you would think they would figure out what’s wrong and get it right in 6.2. Not so, 6.2 was installed today automatically and it behaves identical to 6.0 and 6.1; that is it does nothing when you hit Start. Absolutely nothing. I’m removing it from all my computers at this point. Don’t want to be bothered with crap like this.

As far as I can tell, SpeedTest is absolutely neutral: it does nothing and it hurts nothing.

App just sits there and looks at me. It doesn’t even seem to run. Need to have a great app available for my MacBook Pro that works reliably and consistently like SpeedTest (from Ookla) does on my iPhone. Don’t waste your time and $$ on this worthless app.Apple should not allow an app like this to be released through the app store.
